About the Role
Integrated Dairies Limited (IDL) is a leading producer of fresh milk and quality dairy products in Nigeria, operating from our main facilities in Vom, Plateau State. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Logistics and Depot Manager to join our growing team on a full-time, on-site basis in Lagos. In this pivotal role, you will play a central part in optimizing our supply chain, ensuring seamless product distribution, and maintaining the high standards of excellence that our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily depot operations, logistics activities, and inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels and smooth workflows.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing product movements while maintaining meticulous documentation and reconciliation records.
- Coordinate efficient product distribution schedules to meet customer demand and strict delivery timelines across designated regions.
- Supervise, train, and mentor depot staff, managing performance and shift scheduling to foster a productive team environment.
- Implement and strictly enforce health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments to maintain a secure working environment.
- Resolve customer and distributor inquiries promptly, addressing operational challenges and fostering positive stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to analyze supply chain metrics and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, operations management, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and depot operations, preferably within the FMCG or dairy sector.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing modern inventory management and ERP software for tracking and reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a strong track record in team supervision, workflow planning, and performance management.
- Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations, risk management, and safe warehousing practices in Nigeria.
