About the Role

We are creating new and unique experiences for our customers and can offer scale to our partners to reach new audiences. We are currently looking for a dynamic Loan Sales Officer to join our growing team in Enugu and expand our credit footprint across the local market.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and acquire new loan customers through targeted field marketing, direct outreach, and effective referrals.
- Promote and sell PalmPay's innovative loan products to eligible individuals and local businesses.
- Conduct preliminary credit assessments and ensure accurate documentation and processing of all loan applications.
- Follow up proactively on loan disbursements and monitor repayment cycles to maintain a healthy portfolio.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all client interactions, field visits, and financial transactions.
- Ensure strict compliance with the company's credit policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory procedures.
- Consistently meet and exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales and acquisition targets.
- Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or B.Sc in any relevant academic discipline.
- Proven professional experience in sales, business development, preferably within the banking, fintech, or microfinance sector.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with a persuasive approach.
- Highly target-driven mindset with an unwavering passion for field sales and results.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in the field as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Sound knowledge of the local Enugu market, business environment, and consumer demographics.
