About the Role
LEAM Consulting Limited, a foremost professional services and consulting firm with a proven track record of delivering excellent services to individuals and corporate organizations, is seeking a results-driven Loan Disbursement and Collection Officer to join our dynamic team in Osun State. In this role, you will play a crucial part in facilitating seamless lending processes for our clients by carefully evaluating creditworthiness, processing essential paperwork, and maintaining strong client relationships to drive financial growth and portfolio health.
Key Responsibilities- Review and evaluate loan requests while thoroughly assessing the financial status and creditworthiness of prospective clients.
- Analyze associated financial risks and make informed decisions to approve or reject loan applications in alignment with company standards.
- Contact clients proactively to gather necessary financial data, documentation, and supporting verification materials.
- Follow up with existing clients regarding loan renewals and monitor the ongoing progress and repayment schedules of current loans.
- Ensure all loan applications strictly adhere to company policies, internal credit guidelines, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification, with relevant higher education or certifications considered an added advantage.
- Proven work experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer, or in a similar financial services role within the Nigerian market.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Strong analytical mindset with a sharp attention to detail for accurate risk assessment and financial record-keeping.
