About the Role
Afrimash is Nigeria’s leading eCommerce marketplace for agricultural items, where customers can shop conveniently and securely for quality products and receive their orders safely at their preferred locations. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Livestock Category Associate to join our growing commercial team and help scale our agricultural operations across the country.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and nurture strategic supplier relationships with hatcheries, poultry farms, and other key livestock producers.
- Drive category revenue growth, optimize product margins, and effectively manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts.
- Coordinate seamless order fulfillment operations by collaborating closely with the Sales, Logistics, and Warehouse teams.
- Track, analyze, and report on market data and sales metrics to identify emerging trends and spot new growth opportunities.
- Monitor product quality standards and ensure compliance with agricultural best practices across all livestock offerings.
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in livestock, agriculture, supply chain, category management, procurement, or related commercial roles.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian agricultural sector, particularly livestock and poultry production.
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis with the ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies.
