We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Livestock and Animal Husbandry Teacher to join our dynamic faculty and deliver engaging lessons that bridge agricultural theory with practical skills.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and structured lessons on livestock and animal husbandry to secondary school students.
- Supervise practical agricultural activities, including farm management, animal care, and feeding routines.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment both in the classroom and on the school farm.
- Participate in school co-curricular activities, science fairs, and agricultural club mentorship programs.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school management to enhance the overall science and agriculture curriculum.
- Possession of a recognized teaching qualification such as NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc. in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as a Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) or Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) license are significant advantages.
- Previous teaching experience in a structured school environment is highly preferred.
