About the Role
Vantegral Consulting is seeking a responsible and professional Lift Operator to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring the lift to guarantee the safety and comfort of all passengers. We are looking for an attentive individual who takes pride in maintaining high safety standards and delivering exceptional customer service within a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the lift safely and efficiently according to company guidelines and safety regulations.
- Assist passengers warmly and professionally when entering and exiting the lift.
- Monitor equipment continuously for unusual sounds, operational faults, or maintenance needs.
- Report breakdowns and safety concerns promptly to the appropriate maintenance personnel.
- Ensure the lift interior remains clean, presentable, and free of hazards at all times.
- Enforce passenger compliance with all safety rules and capacity limits.
- Maintain basic logs of daily lift usage, inspections, and reported issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support facility operations.
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent educational qualification.
- Prior experience as a Lift Operator, Elevator Operator, or in a similar customer-facing role is an added advantage.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong commitment to safety, attentiveness, and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and helpful during emergencies or busy periods.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours.
