About the Role

The Candel FZE, a leading manufacturing company specializing in agrochemicals, specialized fertilizers, seeds, and allied products in Nigeria, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Legal / Regulatory Affairs Officer to join our dynamic team at the Lekki Free Zone. In this entry-level role, you will play a vital part in supporting regulatory compliance, managing corporate documentation, and ensuring our innovative products meet all statutory requirements while maintaining seamless relationships with key government and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date registrations, licenses, permits, and documentation for company products and operations.
  • Monitor evolving regulatory requirements and ensure strict adherence to applicable policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, government agencies, and industry associations.
  • Prepare, review, organize, and maintain comprehensive regulatory and corporate documentation.
  • Support the timely submission and renewal of statutory applications, permits, and licenses.
  • Communicate updates on regulatory changes to management promptly.
  • Provide reliable administrative support to guarantee smooth, efficient daily business operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Pure Sciences, Applied Sciences, or a related field from a top university with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division.
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates and NYSC corp members are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Prior experience in regulatory compliance, manufacturing, or the agrochemical industry is an added advantage.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to work independently.
  • Maximum age of 28 years old, proactive, and willing to learn.
  • Willingness to work on-site at the Lekki Free Zone, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.
