Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic legal counsel to senior management on business operations, contracts, and regulatory matters
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, employment contracts, and service agreements
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian employment laws, tax regulations, and industry-specific legislation
- Manage legal risks and develop mitigation strategies across all business operations
- Represent the company in legal disputes and coordinate with external counsel when necessary
- Maintain comprehensive legal documentation and maintain compliance registers
- Support HR and operational teams on employment law and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution
- Minimum 5+ years of legal experience in corporate law, commercial law, or employment law
- Valid Nigerian Legal Practitioner's Certificate and good standing with the Nigerian Bar Association
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and contract law
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Proven experience in oil and gas sector or international business is advantageous
