About the Role
Workatlas Consult Limited is seeking a motivated and analytical Legal Associate with 0 to 2 years of Post-Qualification Experience to join our growing team. This hybrid-remote role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to gain robust experience across litigation, corporate, and commercial practice areas while enjoying the flexibility of remote work combined with hands-on courtroom advocacy.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft clear legal opinions, memoranda, and advisory notes.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, commercial agreements, pleadings, and motions.
- Manage litigation matters, prepare court processes, and attend court proceedings as required.
- Advise clients on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and general compliance matters.
- Liaise effectively with clients, regulatory authorities, government agencies, and relevant stakeholders.
- Support corporate transactions, conduct due diligence, and assist with company secretarial duties.
- Maintain accurate case files, documentation, and progress reports while collaborating with senior colleagues.
- Possess an LL.B and B.L. with active membership in the Nigerian Bar Association.
- Demonstrate 0 to 2 years of relevant Post-Qualification Experience in a reputable law firm.
- Showcase practical competence in litigation, corporate law, and commercial legal practice.
- Possess exceptional legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Display strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in legal tools.
