We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Lecturer in Pharmacology and Toxicology to join our vibrant Department of Pharmacy. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of healthcare professionals by delivering engaging lectures, conducting impactful research, and mentoring students within a state-of-the-art academic environment in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Pharmacology and Toxicology to undergraduate pharmacy students.
- Develop, update, and review curriculum content to align with current global best practices and regulatory standards.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and academic field placements.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and university-wide academic events.
- Conduct high-quality research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the academic reputation of the university.
- Provide academic advising and career mentorship to students to support their personal and professional growth.
- Possess a Ph.D. or a Master's degree in Pharmacology, Toxicology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated teaching experience at the tertiary education level with a strong portfolio of academic publications.
- Current registration with relevant professional bodies, such as the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN), is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with a passion for student success.
