We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Lecturer in Medical-Surgical Nursing to join our dynamic Department of Nursing Science in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Medical-Surgical Nursing to undergraduate students.
- Develop, update, and review curriculum content and course materials in accordance with National Universities Commission (NUC) and nursing council standards.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progress, clinical placements, and professional nursing ethics.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the academic reputation of Maduka University.
- Supervise student research projects, clinical practice, and community health outreach programs.
- Participate in departmental meetings, university committees, and institutional accreditation processes.
- Possess a Master of Science (M.Sc.) or Ph.D. degree in Nursing Science with a specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must be a registered nurse and midwife with a current practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Demonstrated experience in academic teaching, research, and clinical nursing practice.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills with a passion for student success.
