Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution, invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic professionals for the position of Lecturer III in Marine Engineering within our esteemed School of Engineering. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, practical training, and tutorials to undergraduate students in Marine Engineering and related disciplines.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, course outlines, and instructional resources in alignment with current industry standards.
- Supervise student research projects, industrial attachments, and academic dissertations at the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma levels.
- Conduct relevant research, publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals, and present papers at academic conferences and seminars.
- Participate actively in departmental administration, committee work, student mentorship, and community service initiatives within the college.
- Master’s degree in Marine Engineering or a closely related relevant discipline, supplemented by at least two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Alternatively, a good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, along with at least three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience and two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Serving Assistant Lecturers with a minimum of three (3) years of satisfactory service and two (2) presented conference or seminar papers are also eligible to apply.
