Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution, invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic professionals for the position of Lecturer III in the Department of Leisure and Tourism Management Technology. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) students in Leisure and Tourism Management.
- Design, update, and evaluate curriculum content to meet current industry standards and academic requirements.
- Conduct impactful research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, industrial attachments, and field trips.
- Participate in departmental, school, and college-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Mentor students and provide academic and career guidance.
- Master’s degree in Leisure and Tourism Management or a closely related relevant discipline, along with at least two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Alternatively, a good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, backed by at least three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, plus two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Serving Assistant Lecturers with at least three (3) years of satisfactory service and two (2) presented conference or seminar papers are also eligible to apply.
