Yaba College of Technology, Nigeria's premier higher institution and a leader in academic excellence, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Lecturer III to join the Department of Banking and Finance within the School of Management and Business Studies. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and tutorials to undergraduate students in Banking and Finance across National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) levels.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and curriculum in line with regulatory standards and industry trends.
- Supervise student research projects, industrial attachments, and academic activities.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental, school, and college-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives.
- A Master’s degree in Banking, Finance, or a closely related discipline, along with at least two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Alternatively, a good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, backed by at least three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, plus two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Serving Assistant Lecturers with at least three (3) years of satisfactory service and two (2) presented conference or seminar papers are also eligible to apply.
