The Federal University Lafia invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic academic professionals for the position of Lecturer II in Veterinary Parasitology. As a Lecturer II, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of veterinary professionals within our expanding faculty.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Veterinary Parasitology to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Conduct high-impact academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, dissertations, and academic field activities.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Must possess a Ph.D. degree in Veterinary Parasitology or a closely relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Alternatively, candidates with a Master's degree plus at least two (2) journal publications and three (3) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience at the university level will be considered.
