Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Urban and Regional Planning courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, course outlines, and instructional resources aligned with national and global standards.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and academic fieldworks.
- Conduct cutting-edge research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, as well as community engagement initiatives.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to foster their holistic development and career readiness.
- Leverage digital tools and modern e-learning platforms to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
- Alternatively, a Master's degree holder in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification, full-time teaching experience in a tertiary institution is eligible to apply.
- Evidence of academic publications in reputable journals will serve as a strong added advantage.
- Demonstrated proficiency in digital skills and modern educational technology applicable to urban planning and spatial analysis.
