Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Urban and Regional Planning courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Develop and update curriculum materials, course outlines, and instructional resources aligned with national and global standards.
  • Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and academic fieldworks.
  • Conduct cutting-edge research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
  • Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, as well as community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree holder in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification, full-time teaching experience in a tertiary institution is eligible to apply.
  • Evidence of academic publications in reputable journals will serve as a strong added advantage.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in digital skills and modern educational technology applicable to urban planning and spatial analysis.
  • A strong bias and proven track record for academic research, innovation, and professional development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
