Federal University Lafia invites dynamic and qualified academics to apply for the position of Lecturer II in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and tutorials for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Urban and Regional Planning.
- Supervise student research projects, studio sessions, and field trips.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and committees.
- Mentor students and provide academic guidance to support their success.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a closely related field from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Alternatively, a Master's degree in the relevant field plus at least two (2) peer-reviewed journal publications.
- Minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience at the university level.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the academic and administrative growth of the department.
