Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical workshops in various aspects of Theatre Arts at the undergraduate level.
  • Design, update, and develop comprehensive course curricula aligned with national educational standards and university philosophy.
  • Supervise undergraduate student projects, creative productions, and field research.
  • Conduct impactful academic research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university committee meetings as well as community service initiatives.
  • Mentor and advise students on academic progress, career paths, and professional development in the creative arts industry.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Theatre Arts, Dramatic Arts, or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Demonstrated evidence of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed academic journals will be an added advantage.
  • Strong commitment to excellence in teaching, student mentorship, and innovative research.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a culturally diverse academic community.
