Federal University Lafia is seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to join our esteemed College of Medicine as a Lecturer II in Radiology. As a Lecturer II, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the minds of future medical professionals through innovative instruction, cutting-edge research, and active participation in department development.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical training in Radiology to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Develop and update course curricula in line with modern medical standards and institutional goals.
- Conduct impactful academic and clinical research, publishing findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student projects, dissertations, and research activities.
- Provide academic counseling, mentoring, and career guidance to students.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university committee meetings and academic events.
- Contribute to community service initiatives and medical outreach programs organized by the university.
- Must possess a Ph.D. degree in Radiology or a closely relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Alternatively, candidates with a Master's degree plus at least two (2) journal publications and a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience at the university level will be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to teach and conduct independent research in Radiology.
