About the Role
Vision University, a dynamic and fast-growing private faith-based institution in Ikogbo, Ogun State, Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and qualified academic professional to join our Department of Public Health Science as a Lecturer II. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Public Health Science to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course curricula, teaching materials, and assessment methods in line with NUC guidelines.
- Conduct high-quality research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the university's academic reputation.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, dissertations, and academic field placements.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students to support their holistic development.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, community service initiatives, and institutional events.
- Candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree in Public Health Science or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
- Alternatively, Master's degree holders in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification full-time teaching experience in a tertiary institution are eligible to apply.
- Strong evidence of academic publications in peer-reviewed journals will be a distinct added advantage.
