Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Public Health to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Develop and update course curriculum, teaching materials, and assessment methods in line with modern educational standards.
  • Mentor and advise students on academic progress, career development, and research opportunities.
  • Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Participate in department, faculty, and university committee meetings as well as community engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to foster practical linkages and enhance student learning outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Public Health or a directly related discipline from a reputable university.
  • Alternatively, candidates holding a Master's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification, full-time teaching experience in a tertiary institution are eligible to apply.
  • Fresh Ph.D. holders are welcome to apply as this serves as the entry point; evidence of scholarly publications will be considered a strong added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach, inspire, and connect academic theory with practical industry applications.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
