Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in public health undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Design, update, and implement innovative curriculum content utilizing technology-enhanced teaching methods.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, dissertations, and academic field placements.
- Contribute actively to the department's research agenda by publishing in peer-reviewed journals and securing grants.
- Collaborate with senior faculty members on academic programs, institutional development, and departmental goals.
- Mentor students and provide academic advising to promote positive learning outcomes and student success.
- Participate in department meetings, university committees, and community outreach initiatives.
- A PhD or Master's degree in Public Health or a closely related relevant field from a recognized university.
- Demonstrated previous teaching experience in a tertiary institution or relevant professional industry experience.
- Strong familiarity with modern, technology-enhanced teaching tools and learning management systems.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate.
