About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Lecturer II in Production Engineering to join our vibrant Department of Engineering. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate education, conducting cutting-edge research, and contributing to the overall academic growth of the institution.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Production Engineering courses.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct impactful research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committees.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progress, career paths, and professional development.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives as required.
- A First Degree in Engineering with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
- A PhD or Master's degree in Production Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the tertiary level.
- A minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Demonstrated ability to attract research grants and collaborate on multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
