About the Role
Vision University is a newly established, private, faith-based university located in Ikogbo Town, Ogun State, Nigeria. Granted its provisional operating licence by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2023 and mentored by Lagos State University (LASU), we are committed to maintaining the highest academic standards. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lecturer II in Physics With Electronics to join our vibrant academic community and help shape the future of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Physics With Electronics.
- Develop and update course curricula, instructional materials, and evaluation methods in line with NUC and university guidelines.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the academic profile of the university.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research dissertations, and academic mentoring.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Assist in the accreditation processes and collaborate with the mentoring institution, Lagos State University (LASU).
- Candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree in Physics or Physics With Electronics from a reputable university.
- Alternatively, holders of a Master's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification full-time teaching experience in a tertiary institution are eligible to apply.
- Strong evidence of academic publications in recognized journals will be a distinct added advantage.
