Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, practical laboratory sessions, and seminars to undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students.
  • Develop and update curriculum content in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology in line with global best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and secure research grants.
  • Supervise undergraduate student research projects, academic assignments, and industrial training placements.
  • Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
  • Mentor students and provide academic counseling to foster holistic student development and professional ethics.

Qualifications
  • A mandatory PhD degree in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Demonstrated evidence of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
  • Previous teaching or research experience in a tertiary institution is a distinct advantage.
  • Registration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) with a valid practicing license where applicable.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and technological skills for modern academic delivery.
