Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, practical laboratory sessions, and tutorials for undergraduate students in Natural Science Laboratory Technology.
  • Conduct high-quality research and publish findings in peer-reviewed national and international academic journals.
  • Supervise undergraduate student projects, laboratory experiments, and academic research activities.
  • Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and faculty committees as assigned by the Head of Department.
  • Assess and grade student assignments, examinations, and laboratory reports while providing constructive academic feedback.
  • Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives on behalf of the university.
Qualifications
  • Possess a PhD or a Master's degree in Natural Science Laboratory Technology or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Must possess a First Degree with a minimum of a Second Class Upper Division, or a Second Class Lower Division combined with a PhD.
  • For Master's degree holders, a minimum of three (3) years of teaching and research experience at the tertiary level is required.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed academic publications in reputable journals.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in modern laboratory techniques and scientific equipment.
