Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in International Law and Jurisprudence to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and update course curricula, teaching materials, and innovative assessment methods.
- Conduct high-quality, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Mentor students academically and professionally to foster holistic student development.
- Engage in community outreach programs and provide expert consultancy services related to legal education and national development.
- Must possess a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Law with a specific specialization in International Law, Jurisprudence, or a closely related field from a recognized and accredited university.
- Evidence of strong academic publications in peer-reviewed journals is highly desirable.
- Previous teaching or research experience at the university level will be an added advantage.
- Membership in relevant professional bodies such as the Nigerian Bar Association or other professional legal associations.
