About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic, passionate, and research-driven professional to join our academic community as a Lecturer II in Industrial Chemistry. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality instruction, mentoring students, and contributing to the advancement of chemical sciences through rigorous research and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Industrial Chemistry to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, course outlines, and instructional resources in line with contemporary academic and industry standards.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, laboratory work, and academic dissertations.
- Conduct impactful research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, university committees, and institutional accreditation processes.
- Mentor and advise students on academic performance, career paths, and personal development.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Chemistry or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
- Candidates holding a Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification, full-time teaching experience in a tertiary institution are also eligible to apply.
- Strong evidence of academic publications will serve as a distinct added advantage.
