About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic, qualified, and motivated academic professional to join our vibrant College of Medicine as a Lecturer II in Human Anatomy at our campus in Benin City, Edo State.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions in Human Anatomy.
- Design, update, and develop curriculum materials and course outlines in line with NUC guidelines and global best practices.
- Conduct impactful academic research, publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the university's research profile.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research dissertations, and academic mentoring.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, meetings, and community service initiatives.
- Maintain accurate student academic records and administer continuous assessments and examinations.
- Must possess a PhD in Human Anatomy or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must have at least two (2) years of cognate university teaching or research experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of scholarly potential, continuing research, and relevant academic publications in reputable journals.
- Proficiency in ICT tools for modern teaching, e-learning platforms, and digital research management.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal abilities, and a collaborative team spirit.
- Current professional registration and a valid practising license with relevant regulatory bodies where applicable.
