Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in History and International Studies in accordance with university curriculum standards.
- Conduct high-quality, impactful academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, dissertations, and provide holistic academic mentoring and career guidance to students.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings, workshops, and administrative duties.
- Design, update, and evaluate course materials, syllabi, and assessment methods to ensure contemporary relevance in historical and international discourse.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives that align with the developmental goals of the university.
- Must possess a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in History, International Studies, or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated evidence of scholarly publications in reputable academic journals is a strong advantage.
- Membership in relevant professional historical or international relations associations will be considered an added asset.
