About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria, established in 2021, is West Africa's landmark institution and the first Indian university on the African continent. Located on a sprawling campus in Masaka, Nasarawa State—strategically positioned along the FCT-Abuja corridor—MIU is fully approved by the Federal Executive Council and accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer II in Finance to join our dynamic academic community and shape the future leaders of global finance and enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and innovative finance lectures to undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Develop and update course curricula aligned with international best practices and industry standards
- Conduct scholarly research and publish in peer-reviewed academic journals
- Mentor and supervise student projects and thesis work
- Contribute to departmental strategic initiatives and institutional development
- Engage in community outreach and industry collaboration programs
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Finance or relevant discipline, OR Master's Degree in Finance or relevant discipline with at least 3 scholarly journal publications
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a recognized tertiary institution
- Strong research portfolio and demonstrated commitment to academic excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and educational technology platforms
