About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified academic professional to join our Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering as a Lecturer II. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the minds of future engineers through engaging instruction, cutting-edge research, and mentorship, all within a vibrant and faith-based academic community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate students in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Develop and update course curricula in line with national educational standards and industry advancements.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, laboratory works, and student industrial work experience schemes.
- Conduct high-quality research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the university's academic profile.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees and administrative duties as assigned.
- Provide academic counseling and career mentorship to students to foster holistic development.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a closely related field from a reputable university.
- Alternatively, a Master's degree holder in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification, full-time teaching experience in a tertiary institution is eligible.
- Demonstrated evidence of academic publications in peer-reviewed journals will be a strong added advantage.
- Strong digital literacy and proficiency in utilizing modern educational technology and engineering software.
