Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures and practical instruction in electrical and electronic engineering courses
  • Develop and maintain current course curricula aligned with industry standards and accreditation requirements
  • Conduct academic research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
  • Supervise student projects, internships, and laboratory work
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to institutional development initiatives
  • Mentor junior academic staff and support student mentorship programs

Qualifications
  • PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline, OR
  • Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with minimum 3 years university teaching experience plus 4 published journal articles, OR
  • Minimum 2 years experience as Assistant Lecturer with M.Eng qualification
  • Professional registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) or eligibility for registration
  • Strong commitment to quality teaching and research excellence
