The University of Benin (UNIBEN), a prestigious federal university founded in 1970, is seeking a qualified and passionate academic professional to fill the position of Lecturer II in Educational Management within the Department of Education. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Educational Management.
- Design, update, and evaluate course curricula in line with National Universities Commission (NUC) standards.
- Conduct high-quality, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable academic journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students within the department.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, meetings, and academic events.
- Contribute to community engagement initiatives and institutional development programs.
- A First Degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division in a relevant discipline, OR a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
- A PhD or Master's degree in Educational Management or a closely related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed academic publications in reputable journals.
- Demonstrated proficiency in modern teaching methodologies and educational technology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
