About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified professional to join our academic community as a Lecturer II in the Department of Education. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality instruction, mentoring students, and contributing to the vibrant intellectual and spiritual growth of our institution.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and tutorials in accordance with the approved university curriculum.
- Design, administer, and grade examinations, tests, and assignments to accurately assess student performance.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students to foster their holistic development.
- Conduct impactful research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, meetings, and community service initiatives.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects and dissertations as assigned by the Head of Department.
- A Ph.D. degree in Education or a closely related discipline from a reputable and recognized university.
- Alternatively, holders of a Master's Degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification, full-time teaching experience in a tertiary institution are eligible to apply.
- Strong evidence of academic publications in peer-reviewed journals will serve as a distinct and added advantage.
