Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Mathematics lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to ensure academic growth.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and maintain a safe, orderly learning space.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school administration to develop academic programs and extracurricular activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc in Mathematics, or a related field with a professional teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE, TRCN certification).
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the primary or high school level.
- Strong command of the Nigerian and British/American curricula is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
