Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate students in the Department of Science Education.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, course outlines, and instructional resources across specialized science education domains.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, dissertations, and academic field placements.
- Conduct high-quality research, publish in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals, and contribute to the university's research output.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings, academic administration, and accreditation exercises.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students to foster both academic success and moral uprightness.
- Must possess a Ph.D. degree in Science Education from a recognized and accredited university, OR a Master's degree with a minimum of four (4) relevant peer-reviewed publications.
- Areas of Specialization required include Biology Education, Chemistry Education, Computer Science Education, Educational Technology, and Mathematics Education.
- Demonstrated teaching experience at the tertiary education level with a strong portfolio of academic research and publications.
