Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality instruction in Criminal Law courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Conduct original research and contribute to peer-reviewed, internationally indexed publications
- Supervise student research projects and dissertations
- Participate in curriculum development and academic programme enhancement
- Mentor and guide students through moot court, law clinic, and clinical legal education programmes
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary and technology-enabled legal scholarship initiatives
- Contribute to the University's academic reputation through scholarly engagement and professional practice
- Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Criminal Law or closely related specialization
- Current membership of the Nigerian Bar Association
- Demonstrable capacity for effective teaching and rigorous academic research
- Proven evidence of scholarly promise and active research engagement
- Preference given to candidates with: internationally indexed publications, secured research grants, professional legal certifications, curriculum development experience, moot court and clinical legal education programme experience, membership in recognized professional and scholarly associations, and expertise in technology-enabled legal scholarship
