About the Role
Vision University, a newly established, private, faith-based institution located in Ikogbo Town, Ogun State, Nigeria, is seeking a passionate and qualified academic professional to join our Department of Computer Science as a Lecturer II. Licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2023 and mentored by Lagos State University (LASU), we are committed to delivering world-class education rooted in academic excellence and moral integrity. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate Computer Science courses.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, course outlines, and instructional resources in line with NUC and LASU standards.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research endeavors, and academic portfolios.
- Conduct impactful research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, committee works, student advising, and campus community service.
- Candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
- Alternatively, holders of a Master's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification full-time teaching experience in a tertiary institution are eligible to apply.
