Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Computer Science.
  • Develop and update course curricula in line with modern technological trends and NUC standards.
  • Supervise undergraduate research projects, dissertations, and academic field activities.
  • Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and secure research grants.
  • Participate in department, faculty, and university committee meetings as well as academic accreditation exercises.
  • Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
Qualifications
  • Must hold a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related computing discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Demonstrated record of scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Evidence of teaching experience at the tertiary education level is a distinct advantage.
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages, software development, data science, or artificial intelligence is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
