About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified professional to join our prestigious Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences as a Lecturer II in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional academic instruction, conducting impactful research, and mentoring students to become ethical, competent healthcare leaders in Nigeria and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects and clinical pharmacy clerkships.
- Conduct cutting-edge research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and faculty committees.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Contribute to community service initiatives and professional outreach programs organized by the university.
- Possession of a relevant Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacy Practice, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of three (3) years of teaching and research experience at a university or accredited tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated evidence of scholarly publications in reputable academic journals.
- Evidence of potential for academic leadership and collaborative research.
- Registration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) with a valid practicing license.
