- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee assignments.

- Possession of a relevant PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
- Demonstrated evidence of teaching potential, academic publishing, and scholarly research.
- Mandatory professional registration with relevant engineering bodies such as COREN where applicable.
