About the Role
Wellspring University is a prestigious private tertiary institution operating on sound Christian ethics and principles, dedicated to molding intellectually sound and morally upright leaders for national development. We are currently looking for a qualified and passionate academic professional to fill the role of Lecturer II in the Department of Business Administration within our Faculty of Social and Management Sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in undergraduate Business Administration courses.
- Conduct high-quality research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the academic advancement of the department.
- Mentor, advise, and supervise undergraduate students in their academic pursuits and research projects.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
- Assess and grade student assignments, quizzes, and examinations promptly and fairly.
- Foster an interactive and inclusive learning environment leveraging modern educational technologies.
- Possession of a PhD Degree in Business Administration or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- At least two (2) years of cognate university teaching or research experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of scholarly potential, continuing research, and relevant academic publications.
- Proven ICT proficiency and strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Current professional registration and a valid practising licence where applicable.
