Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Biochemistry.
- Design, update, and develop curriculum materials that align with modern pedagogical standards and industry needs.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable academic journals.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, dissertations, and provide holistic academic advising to students.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative tasks.
- Engage in community service initiatives and contribute to institutional advancement and accreditation exercises.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Biochemistry or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated evidence of scholarly publications in reputable national and international journals.
- Prior teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution setting is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to mentor students.
