Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, practical laboratory sessions, and seminars for undergraduate students in Biochemistry and related disciplines.
- Develop and update curriculum content that aligns with contemporary industry standards and academic excellence.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, dissertations, and academic field activities.
- Engage in continuous scholarly research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and contributing to institutional growth.
- Participate actively in departmental administration, student advising, and university committee assignments.
- Foster strong collaborations between the university and corporate or research sectors to enhance student learning opportunities.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry from a reputable university, serving as the entry point for fresh Ph.D. holders without mandatory publication requirements (though evidence of scholarly publications is an added advantage).
- Alternatively, candidates holding a Master's degree in Biochemistry or a closely related discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification, full-time teaching experience in a tertiary institution are eligible to apply.
