About the Role
Divine Infinity College is seeking a passionate and qualified Biology Teacher to join our dynamic secondary school team. In this role, you will inspire students to explore the sciences, foster critical thinking, and build practical biological skills within a supportive, values-driven environment equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver well-structured Biology lessons catering to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Develop schemes of work and curriculum activities aligned with WAEC and NECO requirements.
- Conduct and supervise safe and effective Biology practicals and laboratory experiments.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Teach core concepts including cell biology, genetics, ecology, and human physiology.
- Maintain accurate academic and attendance records while collaborating with colleagues on departmental goals.
- Possess an NCE or B.Ed in Biology, Biology Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of secondary school teaching experience.
- Strong mastery of the Nigerian secondary school Biology curriculum and WAEC/NECO standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively and supervise laboratory safety.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
