We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified professional to join our esteemed Department of Architecture as a Lecturer II.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical studio sessions to undergraduate and postgraduate architecture students.
  • Develop and update curriculum materials, course outlines, and innovative teaching methodologies.
  • Supervise student design projects, dissertations, and academic research activities.
  • Conduct high-quality research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the university's academic reputation.
  • Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, administrative duties, and community service initiatives.
  • Mentor and advise students on academic progression, professional ethics, and career development in architecture.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a PhD in Architecture or a closely related and relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Demonstrated experience in academic teaching, curriculum delivery, and architectural studio instruction.
  • A strong portfolio of research publications in peer-reviewed academic journals is highly desirable.
  • Membership in relevant professional bodies such as the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) or the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills with a passion for student success.
