About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Lecturer II in Anatomy to join the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences within the Paul Odili College of Medicine, located in River Park Estate, Lugbe, Abuja (FCT). The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to our academic excellence by delivering high-quality instruction and engaging in impactful research.
Key Responsibilities- Participate actively in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, curriculum delivery, and student assessment in Anatomy.
- Engage in innovative research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide mentorship, academic guidance, and pastoral care to students within the college.
- Participate in clinical training, departmental meetings, and other academic responsibilities assigned by the University.
- Contribute to academic administration, curriculum development, and institutional community service.
- Possess an MBBS or BDS as a first degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Hold a relevant postgraduate qualification appropriate for the Lecturer II rank.
- Demonstrate relevant teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the position.
- Provide verifiable evidence of academic publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Maintain active registration with the relevant professional regulatory body alongside a valid practising licence.
- Possess a strong demonstrated capacity for teaching, academic mentorship, and institutional service.
