About the Role
Wellspring University is a prestigious private tertiary institution operating on sound Christian ethics and principles, dedicated to molding intellectually sound and morally upright leaders for national development. We are currently looking for a passionate and academically driven professional to join our dynamic faculty as a Lecturer II in Advertising within the Faculty of Social and Management Science at our Benin City campus in Edo State.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical training in Advertising and related courses to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course curriculum, teaching materials, and assessment methods in line with NUC standards.
- Conduct impactful academic research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, dissertations, and academic field activities.
- Provide academic advising, mentoring, and career guidance to students to support their holistic development.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university committee meetings as well as community service initiatives.
- Must possess a PhD Degree in Advertising or a closely related academic discipline.
- Minimum of two (2) years of cognate university teaching or research experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of scholarly potential, continuing research, and relevant academic publications.
- High level of ICT proficiency for modern pedagogical delivery and research management.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative teamwork skills.
- Current professional registration and valid practising licence where applicable.
