Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Lecturer II, you will play a crucial role in academic delivery, student mentorship, and institutional development. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and tutorials in various Accounting courses.
- Conducting impactful academic research and publishing findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Mentoring students academically and morally in alignment with the institution's core values.
- Assisting in the development, review, and updating of the departmental curriculum.
- Participating in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees as assigned by management.
- Employing modern digital tools and innovative pedagogical approaches to enhance student learning outcomes.
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Accounting or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
- Alternatively, candidates holding a Master's Degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification, full-time teaching experience in a tertiary institution are eligible to apply.
- Demonstrated evidence of academic publications will be a distinct added advantage.
- Strong digital literacy and the ability to integrate technology into teaching and research.
- A strong bias for impactful research and a commitment to continuous professional development.
